“But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” [Colossians 3:14-15 NKJV]

Where am I right now in this transition? I’m in panic mode!  I need 12,145 words before 11:59 p.m. November 30, 2019, or in about seventy-six hours.  We need to talk about finances, cabin plans, and the transition! Oh My!  Work is pouring in at… well, at work!  Just where I put that magic wand!

So far today I have written 1028 words in-between my usual workday.  My goal was 3,000 words.  I sat down to write and thought of my blog post.  To tell you the truth, I didn’t think about the blog today, until I brought up Targeted to write again.  I stared at the screen.  The words for the book did not form.

My mind wandered to my readers here in my little corner of the world at www.millyreally.com.  I am blessed to live in a country where I can express myself, share the encouragements I find in my Faith, and worship God freely.  Tonight it is time to be thankful and breathe.

God has blessed me with you who read and follow my blog along my walk with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  I am praising God tonight for your support.  Thank you for being a part of this transition journey.

When I looked up “Thankful” in a bible search engine, Colossians 3:14-15 jumped out at me. Here Paul instructs the Colossians, it is for us too, in how we are to act as Christians.  A part of Paul’s instruction is to be thankful.  It is what Thanksgiving Day is about for me.

Thank you for being a part of God’s adventure journey for us.  I am blessed for the gift of you in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving with Love,

Milly

P.S. I’ve talked a lot about writing Targeted this month I thought you might like to see my draft premise for the book.  This draft is not read ready for an agent, editor, or publisher.  If any of you are in the writing industry please don’t cringe too much, I know I’m not ready for prime time yet! {Wink}

Targeted:  A Nightmare Dream

Premise

The day goes from a personal worst to a nightmare for Nicole Cantera when her family’s multi-million dollar company suffers a devastating terror attack.  In the middle of the attack, a stranger protects her.  But, the police think he may be part of the terror plot.  During the attack, someone breaches their digital security and threatens her clients.  Who does she trust?  Is she living a nightmare or has she found a dream?

Barry Donnelly served his country and is now living out of his car.  While taking a chance on his dream job he finds himself in the middle of a terror attack on American soil.  In a closet wrapped around the company’s CEO, he wonders what God has planned next.  Have the nightmares returned or has a dream begun?

When life hands you a nightmare; God creates a dream…

  1. And we’re thankful that you’re made the transition with us. After all we’re all pretty much the same, we have the same doubts, fears, challenges and failures. The difference is you wrote them down and we get to see ourselves in those thoughts. I really like that last line of your book, when life hands you a nightmare… God creates a dream…

    1. Thank you for your encouragement and support! I’m glad others can relate to where Gods leads. He is so good to us. I’m glad we are not in this transition alone and we can support and encourage each other. May God bless you today! Milly
