I’m not very good with music. Technically, I am good with an instrument, but only when precision is required. I do not have an ear for music, nor the voice and not the feet. While I can sway or bop to the rhythm, my feet are clumsy when I dance. I’ve been out of step with the Macarena and taken out a row in the Electric Slide.

Morning Guidance

This morning I woke with praise for the Almighty on my lips.  Yes, my head was pounding and my thoughts blurred by sleep.  During the early morning hours, I woke a few times before I got up.  Each time I thanked God for the day, his graces, or for being my God before fading back to sleep.

Lessons from Darkness

Darkness descended over Milly’s Realm.  I kept my head up against the wind.  The Strength of the Most High supported me and protected my flank.  The storm clouds became black with greed, lies, and corruption.  Sickness invades and death follows.  Fear runs rampant through the inhabitants.  We hide our faces.  The economy crashes and jobs are lost. Mediocre Really?
