Morning Guidance

This morning I woke with praise for the Almighty on my lips.  Yes, my head was pounding and my thoughts blurred by sleep.  During the early morning hours, I woke a few times before I got up.  Each time I thanked God for the day, his graces, or for being my God before fading back to sleep.

Lessons from Darkness

Darkness descended over Milly’s Realm.  I kept my head up against the wind.  The Strength of the Most High supported me and protected my flank.  The storm clouds became black with greed, lies, and corruption.  Sickness invades and death follows.  Fear runs rampant through the inhabitants.  We hide our faces.  The economy crashes and jobs are lost. Mediocre Really?

Living a quiet mediocre life does not bring the peace I crave.  For decades I listened to the words of those screaming into the nearest microphone.  I responded with silence.  The louder they screamed, the more I retreated to the middle of the road.  I neither agree nor disagree. Limitations
